 Tutorials - Combine Images
 Make Your Own Forum Signatures

1. You will need one picture (or more) of your favorite celebrity and texture. Open both of them, don't minimize them. I use Vanessa Carlton picture.

2. Find out first the size that is allowed in your forum site. I will make it to 480x100 pixels. File > New > set the size into 480x100 > OK.

3. Copy both of the picture and the texture. For the picture, CTRL+A (select all) and CTRL+C (copy). As for the texture is the same.

4. Go to the new canvas 480x100 pixel sized, and CTRL+V, for both picture and the texture.

5. As you will see, Vanessa's image is in the top (or front) of the texture. Look at the Layer window. Vanessa is Layer 2 and the texture is Layer 1. (If it happens that the texture is Layer 2 and Vanessa is Layer 1, it's okay. Just click the Layer 2 and hold it after that move it to below so that the texture is below Vanessa.)

6. Now pick the Eraser tool . And choose the eraser type. I choose soft round 100 pixels. You may choose different size, but use the soft round!

7. I do it like this.

8. Open another texture. Mine is this. Copy and paste it to the 480x100 pixel canvas board. After that you can move it freely until you get the right composition.

9. Set it to Pin Light. And erase it in light ways, little by little. I do it like this.

10. We almost done. Click the color palette and choose this color #433d3d.

11. Create a new layer. Just click at the icon which marked with red circle.

12. Pick the brush tool . And choose the soft round 200 pixels. And brush it at the canvas anywhere you want but try to make a composition when you brushing it. Mine is like this.

13. Set it to Vivid Light.

14. Add some text, and we're done. To make it as 'moody' as you can, try to put some lyrics on it. The simple the font you are using, the more it'll look great.
